Azeeza showed her label Azza on Day 1. It was a mix of hits affair. While her separates worked well and and outerwear pieces were an absolute delight to watch, she fell into world of stereotypes and cliches with her embellished satin pieces.
Collection most consisted of satin gowns, chiffon dresses and layers and layers of tulle all replete with a heavy dose of embellishment. But collection missed the mark for the most part. Palette she used for her collection didn’t do any favours for her either.
Only positives to take out of her collection are jeweled cape and embellished blazers. Azza with all her experience and finesse’ at construction holds tremendous potential and could really find a niche’ clientele in Pakistan. She needs to explore the Pakistani bridal market in depth and research in detail to get an idea of where it stands, what works, what doesn’t and in what direction are the tides moving.
