It’s a new year and a new month so I thought let us start off the new year with something new and exciting. ‘Best Dressed of the Month’ is the first of many interesting features coming your way.
Emaad Irfani is handsome and smart and he can probably make sweat shirt and gym trousers look smart but in this particular case, the suit is contributing equally to that very stylish look. Low cut blazer, spread collar, complimenting pocket square and a million dollar smile; he is looking the very definition of draper. My only criticism, those pants need a little but of hemming.
This was one of the most talked about looks of Golden Globes and got a lot of mixed reviews. I, for one, loved it. It’s so striking and statement making. It’s a red dress on a red carpet yet it’s not boring. And the best part is the surprise in the back. It takes guts to wear a dress like that to Golden Globes and Emma Watson has surely got them plenty.
Style is 50% knowing what looks good on you and Luptita is definitely very self-aware in that department. Bright, stand out colour always look great against dark toned skin and when that colour comes in a print as visually interesting as Mary Katrantzou’s, that is definitely ‘best dressed list ‘material.
Sometimes a simple, sharply tailored charcoal grey suit is all you need to get the job done.
Put together hair, plaited belt and some colour in the form of lapel pin; it’s the simple details that make the difference.
Call me crazy but I love there techno, sci-fi helmets and tuxedos fit to to a tee. Well tailored, well hemmed and well cut. Good Job!
Beautiful print, very fashion forward, very Cate Blanchett.
