Cover Galore: Mahirah Khan on cover of Hello Pakitan! June Issue

You saw the previous June covers. Here and here!! Next stop in our magazine watch bandwagon is Hello Pakistan’s June issue which features a very fresh looking Mahirah Khan in Sania Maskatiya’s ‘Naqsh Collection’ from Fashion Pakistan Week in April, 2013.

Alyzeh Rahim Shirazi has styled the cover and I was impressed the moment I saw this cover. It’s a love at first sight .That vanity box with those very peculiar wooden boxes, cover is oozing off a high end, luxurious vibe that is rarly seen in Pakistan magazines.

I wont even hesitate declaring it one of Hello Pakistan’s best covers. These guys keep getting better with every issue. And for Mahirah, all I gotta say is does this women ever look unflattering? I mean, ever???

Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer 2013: Deepak n Fahad – Black Eyed Peas goes to an 80’s techno club

DnF played with metallic studs and motifs. There were studded sneakers, chains and strong shoulders. Whole collection had a strong Versace influence going on not that it’s a drawback.

But DnF could have done something more with what they had at hand. There were studs and that was it. Also the collection needed crisper editing. Having said that, it did offer some amazing jackets, styling was quite frolic as well. Personally speaking, I would wear most of what I saw but I would have loved it a lot more as a collection if there were more diversity and they took what they already did to a higher level.
Overall, a  decent collection. Vey Black Eyed Peas, very Will.I.am, much improvement over their last outing with a few show stopping, wearable pieces.
